Dear Pam,
I have in my closet right
now a pair of red cfm pumps with stiletto heels.
I haven't heard that saying of Joan Crawford's since the early 70s in
London. God, you brought back heaps of memories and laughs in one fowl
swoop. My CFM pumps were navy blue and worked a treat every time :) :)
whatever...)!

You will not catch me dead in a pair of red shoes. As a medical student in

My version of red shoes was a pair of hot pink patent leather heels with
pointy toes. I got them for my graduation from Grade 8 (something they do
in Ontario Canada). The first time I wore them was on a school trip to the
Science Centre in Toronto. I took them off to have a nap and when I woke

Ahhh -- Red shoes!
You just had me on my knees checking the back corner of my
closet, looking to see if I still had that pair of red velvet flats. I
had them for at least 40 years but, as my feet expanded with old
age, I could no longer wear them. They were delightful to wear to

Hi everyone and Lynne
I had a pair of red clogs once made by the popular brand name of the time
(prehistoric) - Rohl I think, or something like that. I loved them. Wore
them so much had to get them resoled, then wore them out past the sole,
into the wood. yup, red clogs with long-legged blue jeans
they FIT. I got them
for Christmas. What a wonderful present that was. I wore them till they
literally disintergrated. That was a sad day sniff.

This was an interesting post, just last week I went out to buy a pair of trousers and
came home with a pair of 3" stilletto mules in red satin with diamonte trim.
My mother has never owned red shoes, my sisters have never owned red shoes.
But my grandmother did.
For me, when they are shiny it's
Hello all,
I never had a pair of red shoes. I did have a pair with very high cork
platforms which had white sandal straps on them. (I'm trying very hard to
remember.) And I also had a pair of very high black boots which my parents
hated. My daughter is working on her own style (she's 13) bu
