Okay gang, got the FTP security patch from the Netfilter boys and applied
it. Kernel is compiled and I'm about to tar and gzip it. I also took the
opportunity to go weeding.
The final result is as follows:

There are in essence, two versions at this time: the original glibc
2.0.7 version, and the new 2.1.3 version in development. Both use the
same /bin/sh.
