KP,
They're in CVS. We used adocman to modify/update files in the DocManager
from CVS. I turned our proje

the UI isn't the problem - it's more about the time required to figure
out how to use everything properly (i.e. read the documentation provided).
It looks easy enough, but that doesn't change the fact that

as always, I can speak only for myself - but I'm going to assume that I
speak for at least a few of the developers who might look at the wiki at
some point.
While the wiki might be a big help down the road, at

Luis,

Everyone,
Is there a reason I'm the only one that's done anything with the new
wiki?

Everyone,
I'm delighted to announce we now have a wiki. It is the new SF hosted
project wiki beta. All project members have access. The public can view
it, but not edit. I'd like to keep it that way, if there are no
objections.

Everyone,
Please take a look at the new proposed format for our DocManager documents.
I don't want to start modifying the rest of our FAQs until I get some
feedback on this format. Thanks.
Why does the DocManager...

Everyone,
I just added "Print Document" links to all of our documents in the DocManager. e.g.
https://sourceforge.net/docman/di

Scott,
We're using the FSFs FDL for the documents in the DocManager.

I think you may run into a problem if .pdf is the only form of the document
A quick question along long these lines...what's the
prefered open-source license for LEAF documentation projects?
I'm wrapping up a "FTP and Firewalls" .pdf and I wanted to
get that part right. Well, I wanted to get it all right, but
I'll start easy...
Thanks!

Everyone,
First everyone deserves a big pat on the back. We have doubled the content that was in
the original LRP Q&A.
With help from Rick, I modified our DocManager backup script to only archive our
content. Prior to this the SF html (~300 lines) was wrapped around our content. This

Now that we have the DocManager backed up, it's no longer necessary to
contact the original author before making changes to FAQs. Although, it
would still be a good idea to do so.
I reorganized the document group order, made some other cosmetic changes,
and updated these FAQs:

I guess I don't know one from the other...

Is it possible to copy the HTML files to a CVS directory, and then
use CVS or something else to move them into the main site?
Perhaps there should be only ONE (or two) person to make edits and
make things final in the docs area. It might also be good to "hand
over" the docs as they are made -
