I also use compact flash. I had some problems with the files being all
scrambled when I mounted the disk as vfat instead of msdos. Essentially
I used the wrong file system.

Hello,
Has anybody gotten a response from Nagasaki? I sent an inquiry
and have not received any responses yet. I am intrigued about
the MS-2300 and also want to see if I can get the MS-2100 with
dual ethernets or more.
Thanks.

Hello,
I am running Bering v1.0rc3 and I can't get it to bring up either of the
interfaces. I have 2 Belkin F5D5000 NIC's which have Realtek 8139 chipsets.
I have loaded mii, 8139cp, and 8139too modules and it will not bring them
up. I am new to this and I'm sure I'm missing something very simp

I may be wrong, but I believe that the "original" PKZIP utilities
supported tar files. I haven't used them in a couple of years. Maybe
someone else on the list could clarify.

I grabbed this from the FAQ on what formats power archiver
(www.powerarchiver.com) supports:

Q: Does PowerArchiver support other archive formats besides ZIP?
A: Yes, in addition to ZIP files, PowerArchiver currently supports creating
and working with CAB, LHA (LZH), TAR, TAR.GZ, TAR.
Screw winzip, use PowerArchiver (www.powerarchiver.com).
It supports all the usual types (i.e. zip) as well as RAR, TAR, GZIP...etc.
It will allow you to create TAR files on W2K ( I just tried it to make
sure).
It also supports ACE, CAB and other formats. Check it out.
