Is there a specific reason you can remember for attempting to comment out

Check the exact chipset the card uses.
Maybe it is one of those Taiwan generic chipsets.

Hi folks,
I'm setting up a new Bering 1.2 firewall, and in my notes to myself I
have a note to either remove (or in this case I simply commented out)
the /var/lib/shorewall entry that is within the root.exclude.list file.
Do I need to do this or just don't bother?
Thank you,
Craig

Dear Bering friends,
last time I have to Install Bering(kernel 2.4.20) on a
computer with a AVM Fritz!Card. My self use also AVM
Fritz!Card v1.0 it works without any problems. But
with the Fritz!Card v2.x hisax doesn't found it. :(
Can someone tell me what I can do?
Thank you!
Felix

I didn't think of this when you first posted. My ISP limits each cable
modem to pulling 1 or 2 addresses at a time. If you don't know what was
going on, you would swear your DHCP client or NIC was malfunctioning...

Thanks..!
I was´t able to get an IP under win2000 on a third MAC
address either
so powering off the modem over night, released this
"DHCP trust"

Hi Folks
Sorry it you consider this abusive, please don't flame..
I am faced with the decision to buy a batch of small router hardware (the

Of course OEM prices vary a lot depending on the batc
