There is talk around about libz in general having security flaws (Redhat
send out an alert and update for theirs). Does anyone know what version
of libz.lrp are "safe" for Dachstein (and other LEAF distributions)?

Well, it's time to enhance the wireless lrp...(now that the doc and
packages are complete)
I need to get snmp up and running so I pulled a copy from Charle's site
and installed it. Now, I need to get it up and running, but after
several hours of googling, I have not found any simple, to-the-poin
Has anyone implemented a lightweight logging system, like mrtg, for
Dachstein Leaf?
I can run something on a redhat server that probes the Dachstein Leaf
system, but do not know if the necessary smnp stuff exists for
Dachstein.
Any pointers?

I would like to now extend my second LEAF system, which is acting as a
Samba file server within my private network, and add mail filtering and
"sorting". I want to keep things as simple and small as possible.
Can you help me find an appropriate set of .lrp's ... I think I know

let me know. I am running on a 486-66 with a 100MB disk and 48MB RAM.
I have a 20MB partition for Dachstein and am 8MB ramdisk set-up in the
configuration. (very generous on resources)
All the best,

ISA card and routing, still on the public side, to a third NIC in the
LEAF, which then goes to an access point. The second NIC in that box
will support the private (local/firewalled) side.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
