I did something similar for YouTube. I used tc to reduce bandwidth to all known IP addresses for YouTube... I set it to something like 64kbps and set to lowest priority with no guaranteed bandwidth. I used MasterShaper to generate the tc code then copied that on LEAF. Very effective at makin

What you want is a DNS server... that you poison to hijack all requests on your network for myspace and direct the traffic to your own web server where you use whatever scripting or other dirty tricks you want. Don't do this on your firewall. That's a security issue, not a personal comment. Chri
