Hi Izzy, Note that Debian uses a 'real' mount and Bering-uClibc busybox mount which doesn't have all the obscure functions of a full mount. But it's better to always use the -t option anyway and don't rely to much on automatic guessing. But why not simply make an entry in fstab ? Maybe Debian al

I'm not sure how mount detects what filesystem to use when it isn't specified in fstab, but it would be very nice if it would detect vfat instead of fat when I mount the usb thumb drive. I'm assuming it must be possible because my system (Debian sarge) seems to detect the drive as vfat. I kno
