Look at code. I didn't use wondershaper so I can't answer anything about
it. ppp-shpr is oriented for usage on VPN/PPPoE/other PPP ser

modules, but the config seems to work for me on 3.0RC1:
Uncommented from the /etc/modules file
#
# Traffic control modules
sch_htb
sch_sfq
sch_ingress
cls_fw
cls_u32

It's actually 3 commands (lifted pretty much directly from the LARTC
HOWTO), but point taken. :)

qbox.lrp will work on the existing uClibc distro.
You will need to add in bash, htb, and suppor

Hello Doug,
See my previous mail (for a shorewall solution). You can also take a look
at the qos-htb.lrp package or wshaper.lrp, or if you like to have a
bridged setup on a wrap/pcengines to the q-box project Ron mentioned.

Doug,
I think you may have better luck discussing this with the lartc.org
people. I'm familiar with traffic shaping but have not utilized

Right then, you need to replace those "[" and "]" with "(" and ")"
respectively.
Although looking at mine, I have (( and )). Not sure if this is
necessary. I shall follow the "it's not broken" rule.
The $(( ... )) is necessary, a

Hi,
Yes, there are lots of modules that you need to load.
They are in /kernel/net/sched.
I can't remember how I found out which ones I needed. Either I loaded
all of them or I used trial and error.
If you look carefully in the script, there is a comment on how to put it
into debug mode, you add a

So am I right in thinking that matching by ports is the best way to do
this? What are the practical differences between adding entries to the
TOS file and adding entries to the tcrules file? Both can be used to
decide which HTB class a packet belongs to, but is one a better solution

I had this problem too and resolved it by adding the appropriate
modules. You can find the modules at

Hi Simon
I just finished my Dachstein QoS Add-On script. I'm did a lot of "research"
in this topic.
I'm still developing the final .lrp package but the core script (without a
package arround it) is finished. I didn't announce it because I want to
finish my advanced script and the package before I
