Donald Mouse? Is that an erroneous mixture of the duck and Mickey?

One of the problems with the LUST statement about spending more on the team, is
that it is easier said than done. It's not like a manufacturing company buying
new machinery to increase productivity.
If I owned the club, (I wish!), I would spend very conservatively on the team,
hoping that I ha

That's the irony. Thrift is in every Leeds fan's blood, but they want their
club to behave in direct opposition to their own instincts -- and this is
despite us still suffering from the legacy of the last chairman who did
exactly that.

Goodness me, common sense on the list!
The numbers seem to add up, given the constraints of having Bates in
charge. 50% of t/o on player wages, yet only 3% return. LUST proposes upping
spending to 60% - which would push us into losses.
Not seeing any practical ways to improve things here. I
Maybe only 3% return cos he spent all the money on litigation, boxes and lining
his own pockets?

How much money has Bates personally taken out of the club? Do you know?
Boxes bring in good revenue. The ground is being refurbed with borrowed
money - money that could not be borrowed to spend on players.
Can't argue with the litigation - but even if you halved that, it'd not

profit have you made so far on your investment?
Has anyone worked it out yet?

I guess all will be revealed if and when a takeover goes through, and
ownership of ER/TA transfers at a price. Rent is £1m a year.
