Just trying to follow your thread Rick as you may possibly have more insight
than some on this topic. Are you saying Cellino has no future at Leeds as
things stand? If not then what are the implications for the club? Admin?Just
trying to get a sense of what may happen next.

Project Athena has been fully acknowledged (in court) as a dossier
compiled on Cellino and his past convictions.
In which court case was this fully acknowledged ?
My post was with regard to a dossier complied for the PL - not for GFH.
GFH knew Cellino would not get immediate approval. There are seven pages
related to that exact scenario in the Share Purchase Agreement.
Project Athena has been fully acknowledged (in court) as a dossier compiled
on Cellino and his past convictions. GFH had a clause inserted in the SPA

Seems like we'll not get any new players in during this transfer window now
Cellino has lost his appeal, hard to imagine who would come to us now with no
guarantee we'll be solvent by the end of the season.
What's also worrying is he could apparently face another 12 month ban down the
line for
In practical terms, what does this mean for us?
Why can't we just get rid of him?

So he is disqualified for 10 weeks or so? So what??
Does he have to sell or just go to ground? It takes longer than 10 weeks to
sell a club and cant he then just buy it back?
What does it mean for transfers in January? Subject to the odd transfer
embargo which seems to have Bamba and 6ft 4

Does anyone remember a film in the 70s called 'The Club'.
It was an Australian film about an Aussie Rules club which was trying to
recapture former glories amid boardroom turmoil.
The amazing thing is that everything that happened in the film was quite mild

I just don’t understand this, he bought a yacht, did or didn’t pay tax on it.
May or may not have lied. He ran an Italian team for 20 years without
financial incident e.g. solvent successful etc...

Got to agree.
I totally understand the rule, and the reasons for it, but to arbitrarily apply
it to some and not others makes it not a rule, but a device used by executive
authorities to act upon someone.
Apply it to everyone or don't apply it at all.
Mind you, I hope it rids us of this
But then what? That is what scares me. At lease we are still in existence right
now.

Good summary. Whilst I'm no FA fan, it always seemed likely that MCs tax
activity would be enough for the FA to act - so it has proved. Some real venom
and bile about the FA on some sites, but bottom-line is he got caught breaking
the FAs rules. If other sites info is anything to go by, then
I don't think they could have found otherwise TBH, not sure what it means
for the ownership in the meantime tho'

Cellino is banned until mid-April as that's when the current conviction for
evading VAT on his yacht is considered spent in English law.
Later this year, he is up in court again in Italy in two separate cases
relating to evading VAT on a different yacht, and a Land Rover.

I would love the whole club to fold and start again. How could it possibly
