I hate the Olympics whether corrupt or not. For example, what's the mens
world record 100 metres then?? About 10 seconds?? Woopee dooo. I could do it
in perhaps 18 seconds - who cares? Who in their right mind would pay to
watch somebody do that a bit faster than say...me? It's on a par with
Drogba's like Paul Ince in that I don't like him, but sure as hell he'd be
in my first 11 if I was manager.
It was a great goal last night made even better by Messi being caught in
possession...nice
Barcelona for all their endless possession and passing are boring and
predictable to watch.
Yes, you were on a mission to rid ER of SG and I wasn't that far behind you.
Perhaps we're all looking back now and daring to suggest that maybe SG
wasn't doing so badly after all.
We've been in free-fall since Warnock took over. Will he throw his toys out

We've been a different outfit since Warnock took over. Whatever the outcome,
the approach, work rate and style has been excellent. It'd be nicer to do
well as a result, but I feel we're on the right track 100%

Because it's us and we are a poor outfit. I'm taking solace in this defeat
and was hoping for a heavier humiliation. Bates? Grayson? the problems
perhaps are a combination of both, but it's only shocking results like this
that will force things to change. It's a cruel to be kind sort of thing.
Disagree! Any of the bottom four teams in the PL are way ahead of us and the
likes of Wolves and Bolton doing well recently against Spurs and Liverpool
respectively, endorse this.
Don't mention our recent 1-0 defeat to Arsenal as redress, we were clueless
and simply waiting to be defeated.

That may be, but we're awful. Our sins will find us out sooner or later and

It looks as though you've allowed Grayson some slack based on previous
messages. Are you changing your thinking on him??!! Grayson has had a
generous spell in charge though with one promotion to show for it. I very
much doubt even play offs at this stage. Has his contract been renewed? I

Wasn't there, but regardless of how dull the game was with few
opportunities, it's a great turn around after Blackpool, after which, quite
a few of us, including me, voiced a few harsh words. Seasons are not won or
lost on a good or bad performance, but it's good that we go into the longer
in the players that
they want for various reasons, but they are paid to work with what they have.
Is George Graham free these days?

Now that it's 0-4, just one more goal to concede before our +5 goal

ruthlessly wiped out in a single game. Well at least it's going to be a

Don't blame him - it's rarely the fault of the person doing the job badly -
it's usually the person responsible for the initial placement. I see this

So, everyone suitably glum? I know it's not over quite yet, but as good as.
How we've stayed in the top six for so long with a string of poor results is
a mystery, until today, where pay back time seemed to hit with a vengeance
when most other teams around us did ok. I suppose we should be
I agree - we ARE a Championship outfit and that's where we belong for now.
It's highly unlikely that we would manage anything if we did make the
playoffs. All the possible opponents (except Forest perhaps ) are on form
and we are not. Promotion for us would be disaster at this point apart from
I suppose it must be true then - but a bit of an obvious swipe at a
universally hated establishment on these pages. Is it mandatory to be a Man
U hater if you're a Leeds Utd fan?
Does that make my 53 years of being a Leeds fan meaningless as I don't hate
Man U - in fact I don't hate any club.
So, we've probably escaped relegation. Most of us would have taken that at
the start of the season. I would! But now we're being tempted with a play
off place or even at a push, automatic promotion, the defence bugs me too.
It's so frustrating! Is that it then? We've done well, stayed up, might
Yes, you're right. There is no rhyme nor reason governing who can beat who -
look at Blackpool last night beating Spursas Ian Holloway points out -
Does this make us a better team than AC Milan?
Of course not! But who knows on a one to one one off? So, no patterns then,

Like Warnock at QPR, Grayson must be becoming concerned. 3 draws for us now

into our without a win run.
We would have gone 2nd tonight with a victory, but seen too many points
dropped of late. We've been great over the
Hope we don't suffer another total collapse today at Ipswich.
After Tuesday, a 1 or 2-0 defeat would feel quite respectable.
