Hmm. I'm not sure about Byram's best position. I always though him to be a
full-back, who is handy going forwards but a bit suspect in defence. Not
really IMO a midfielder or winger. I am assuming that it is as a right back
that he is attracting attention from higher clubs.
The fact that
I'd be more concerned if we were to lose Cook than Byram tbh - for two seasons
the conversation has been about what's wrong with Byram etc - maybe he's not as
good as everyone had hoped, or maybe he needs a change to remotivate himself?

I do too. Mind you if he was on a salary that was over inflated in relation to
his value to the team then I think it's fair enough to offer him less money,
just don't expect him to stay and don't be upset when he tells you to f*ck off.
You're not going to see the "one club" player these days
And longer terms.

I'd guess Gary Kelly was on a lot more than Byram has been offered.

This is classic Cellino - it's the redders thing all over again. Slag him off
to try to turn the fans against him so they'll accept its for the best when he
gets sold to a premiership team.
He hasn't played well this season but as others have said, he's playing out of
position and the owners

@PhilHayYEP: Massimo Cellino tells Sky Sports that Sam Byram thinks Leeds
United are "not big enough for him":
http://t.co/lNgSbcWnyK #lufc
@PhilHayYEP: Important context here is that Leeds were offering Byram a
reduction to his weekly wage:

MARCHING
5-0 pre season win, McCormack says he isn't leaving, Byram hasn't been sold
yet, its lovely weather and you are all having petty squabbles about tennis.
Murray has won 2 grand slams, best British tennis player ever, henman was top
10 in the world and did well for many years, 2nd best tennis
To tell the truth I was delighted. The team I chair got into the finals of
the first stage of promotion play offs. Since we only went up this year a
bloody great achievement.
Thanks to Kuwaiti and Cockney morons who have taken Leeds out of Leeds
United I felt more attached to my team than the love
I want to outlive the cunt and be at the matches where we're supposed to
have minutes silence.

The other far less obvious angle on this is that this move probably puts KB
beyond the jurisdiction of the FA when it comes to the disrepute charge hanging
over him and also when it comes to any possible further charges arising from
the Ofcom decision re Gary Cooper.
Typical slippery Bates.
That's really stretching it. You cause exactly the opposite
