In 2006 I bought a brand new Legacy 1200 with Z-axis upgrade, extra gear set, rotary table, and a design kit. At that point in time I also began my house rebuilding, so as a result, I didn't put the LOM together. Finally, in November of 2019 I assembled the machine.  I played around with it, but

I have the 1200 with z axis upgrade also. To me it was no good. Nice ides but a failure on execution. Without dead on repeatability and without the ability to deadlock the router in place, it wasn't worth much. The basic plate with plunge router was much better.  Sent from Yahoo Mail on

I still get a kick out of the guy who built a booby trapped box. Put a gps chip in it, loaded it with a yellow paint ball and stink bomb that exploded when the package was opened. And a camera inside that recorded it all and wirelessly sent out the video (with sound) to the guy who built it. He

My 1200 parts included a 2" port and bracket that mounts to the rear of my z drive. I have the z drive update and  the template follower and dust port bracket mount on the back. It is very similar to my Woodpecker router fence setup, which really gets a lot of the dust. However, I really think

I very much agree with all that. It seems with the uptick in the economy, hobbyists are out playing again. There are those that play for fun and there are those that try to make a few bucks while playing.  So far I have not seen another machine quite like the LOM for such great and versatile
