I'm always looking to learn here.
I've never seen a "handled" hand tool that looks like that.
They do not appear to be screwdrivers nor chisels. They seem to be a very
specific/special purpose hand held/driven tool. But, based only on the photo
I have a template job I want to try too on the legacy as soon as I get back in
the shop

BillI agree, its not simple, but then again its not all that hard to do
either. Once your alignment is done, between your template and the part, The
reeding, fluting, or just cutting a flat on the handle (like they did here/in
the photo) would not be all that hard to do on the Legacy.

These handles are simple but elegant. They can be made on the Legacy with
little trouble. Thought you all might like to try it for your self? (I will be
in the near future.) ;
Hello Chris
making these would not be hard.I can see two different ways to get this
done. One with the Lathe and the other Legacy alone.
With a lathe you can make a rough turning of the handle. and then re-mount the
turning on the Legacy.
(NOTE: for best results you should use your templet follo
Curtis,
Nice - but what are they? "Plumier Foundation"?
What are they used for?
Thanks.

I didn’t try to run the screw. I’ll have to give it a try in the morning. I’ve
got to get ready for Wednesday evening prayer services in a neighboring city. I
won’t be back until late this evening. Thanks for your help.

Sorry, let me be more clear.
When the power to the control box is on, you should not be able to move the
axis for X, Y, A. You should also not be able to move the axis for Z. You
can test if the zaxis is locked by trying to turn the screw. When the power
is off, you can move all four axis by hand
