Hi,
In my opinion, the Oneida systems are the best of the dust collectors. It
does everything they say it will do. I have a 3hp unit with 12 (4-6")
drops to machines in my home shop (crazy hobby). The system allows me to
open 1-3 of the gates at one time and still have excellent extraction. I

Hello Brigitte
Don't apologize for asking questions, this is a good line of thought.Chances
are many other people are or have wondered about the same things.

Hello Cole,
I'm fascinated by this topic, especially since we use machines that
are hard to keep down the dust--or suck up the dust.
I do know that every system puts a premium on saving the air in the
room. Because we spend money heating and cooling air, it appears that
everyone wants to keep th
hello Brigitte,
Another option would be to make your own. I'm not at home right now so
i don't have the link available; but i made my own for my dust
collector using a 55 gallon drum. it is extremely affective. I have
not used a store bought one so i cannot make a comparison but if your

Hi Brigitte
Yes they work, and they work very effectively. I have the small model that
sits on top of my Festool vacuum cleaner . I know one or two people that
purchased them over here.
There was an agent in the UK near Ipswich, but he gave up about 18 months

Check out the latest tools issue of Fine woodworking. They specifically
mentioned this unit. Personally I am saving up to go with a system from a guy
named Bill Pentz . He has done more research into fine dust collection than
anyonelse that I know of. I am in the hvac and indoor air quality feil

I have a Oneida Dust Deputy, the metal one with the metal drum that
works with shop vacs. I swear by it for saving the filter in the shop
vac. My drum is also easier to dump than my shop vac, so that's a
bonus. If you don't empty it often enough, the shop vac will get full
