Hi Bill,
You can delete any individual or family group in Legacy without
affecting your other data. The exception is deleting a spouse where,
depending on how you do it, you may lose the marriage information entered.
To be sure you are only deleting the people you intend to delete, tag
them
You can enter these types of indications when for your own use only
in double square privacy brackets and then they are not included in
any report unless you choose to print private notes.

Hi Tish,
Perhaps you have solved your dilemma by returning to the web page and

I use a fairly low-tech option to evaluate my evidence on a fact or on
my research as a whole on a person. First, I cite all my sources and
type the relevant data into an event. Then I use the event notes to
transcribe the relevant data and to make comments about the general

Please, please make this a global option if it is added. My file is

That's probably 90% or more of my file.

Legacy Deluxe has nine tags, any three of which can show right on the

Have you considered using the tags in Legacy. You could assign a tag for
"unproven" or "pending" and see when you are on the persons information if
the tag is there or not. Tags can also be printed on various reports.

Hi, just curious. Is it possible to put something like an asterisk or,
