correct the double links issue so now I don't know what's what and I

There are no duplicate images in the drive directory. Microsoft will
not allow that--it will overwrite or force a rename. There are
basically multiple pointers to the same image inside of the Legacy
software. This problem came about during a smartmerge in Roots Magic.

I printed out the list--there are TONS as most were duplicated in the

How did I miss that. I was only testing the Timeline
sub-program, but since I chose the BC (Jesus) date in
my timeline choice I am being told each time I view my
person I get the error message 'Unrecognized date'. It
should recognize any date it put in?!

I was able to open in Access. I resorted on the file name and VIOLA!!
Here is the first one to show up duplicated. I think this exemplifies
my problem.

Always make a copy of your database before opening the copy in Access.
Once you do that, you can test what happens without compromising your
main file.
