Pete, Legacy also uses the RINs for website names, but you can keep the existing RINs when importing from a GEDCOM into a new file. I have also found that with larger sites unchecking Reuse Abandoned RINs (OptionsCustomiseData Defaults) is helpful should you only wish to update changed pages

When storing large documents of this type, I went to my local ARC (Area Resource Center) archive and spoke to the archivist, she sold me an archive (acid free) box and acid free folders to store the info, they were the same boxes that they used for all of the naturalization papers. It works well

What does 'various folders' mean? It is much better, (in hindsight), to backup from the old computer, and restore to a clean, fresh copy of Legacy. If this doesn't work, we will need to get more specific, But I am pretty sure it will. It is too easy to mistype file names, and you may never find
