The downloads are really huge. If you're trying to use the "Install from the Web" and since you're on dial-up, you're better off selecting the "Download Full Setup", saving that to your hard drive and then running the install after you go off-line. It's not really going backwards. You'll find th

I've used Legacy Deluxe 4.0 with pleasure for the last five years. Recently I changed many of my unknown name blanks to [--?--]. I was stunned to get about 80 pages of them in the potential problems preview with "Too many dashes in the Name field and Possible Illegal Characters in the Name Field.

You could always choose to ignore that "problem" in the Potential Problems report. It's under the Options 2 tab. Just very recently (the days are all blending together for me ) I recommended leaving the name fields blank if you don't know the names. Please check the archives for that email. Thank

Yvonne, I am not sure why the download didn't work for you as I have just downloaded it myself (I noticed it is a later version than mine). Clicking "Download Now" takes you to another page and in the box headed "Star Downloader Free" You need to click the link at the bottom to "download.com".
