Just ignore the status bar, the download does continue and the status
bar will go up again. This has been reported to the programmers a

Recently I changed many of my unknown name blanks to [--?--].
I was stunned to get about 80 pages of them in the potential problems preview
with "Too many dashes in the Name field and Possible Illegal Characters in
the Name Field.
I use ??? and it presents no problems.

myself (I noticed it is a later version than mine).

report. Pack information on one line and show only birth and death dates.
So to avoid it you either deselect show birth, baptism, death and burial dates
or you deselect the Pack on one line.

want merged, and then merge this file into the master.

I do make sure I have backups of both files clearly labelled in the
filename before I merge them so that if I happen to mess up the merge
