Hello Kirsten - A work-around is to create the Descendant Report in .rtf format and also in .txt format. Open them both in Word by clicking on Windows and then Arrange. The endnotes are correct in the .txt version. Manually change each source reference in the .rtf (which I convert to .doc

Valerie, Back ups made by version 6 will not be changed by version 7, unless you overwrite them with a back up of a Version 7 file. The .fdb files are changed so after viewing them in V7. so do not back them up using the same name as an exisiting back up. Ron Ferguson
