Thanks for that. I had completely missed that option :(. Just given it a

Now of course I have to go and compare all my GEDCOM files and put in the
sources :-(
Thanks again everyone.

I would like to be able to search from within Legacy at Google Books

work?? And/Or how about Footnote?
Thanks for any help,

That tells you to upgrade to the latest release, which I already have. I did
just receive the Vista Service pack, and have installed the same. Will see what
happens next time I add an individual and go from there.

Jean,
Someone else might could explain this. The best I can do is tell you to go
to help file. In the search tab type in search display. The first item
should be create custom internet search. Keep in mind, this only works in
the deluxe edition.

Jack,
There are two more steps to follow after making sure you have the latest build
of Legacy - check/repair and export to a new file if the check/repair doesn't
work.
Most users can now ignore the two steps for updating MDAC and Jet ServicePack.
Thanks for using Legacy.

Oddly, I have seen all of the emails referencing the hijacking of Geoff¹s

I do glance through my junk mail before deleting it, in search of the random

Ron,
For some reason Legacy does not have the cemetery in Kenosha, WI. When I
put in the name and where they are buried it keeps telling me that there is
no such cemetery. The name of the cemetery is Green Ridge and it is in
downtown Kenosha, WI. It should be fixed in your program.
And the group had never recieved them until a week ago. Since the 'bad guy' is
using Geoff's address, any server will pass it through as 'good' because we
told our computers that Legacy is good. For the short term, we just need to
delete as needed. For the long term, Millenium may need to
What you actually did, (my guess) is make messages from 'Geoff' into Spam. His
is the only 'name' being abused at present (IMHO). Contact your server
directly, have them assist in removing the Spam 'mark' in your address. You can
do it now, or wait till it is resolved, then do it.

Your server may have already had the 'badguy' detected in its past, so
'spammed' it immediately. Mine doesn't, and mine frequently sends most 'new
users' to my spam list, so I check the list daily and move all 'good' folks to
my inbox, then add them to my list.

This has nothing to do with me - I don't work for Legacy (and since I'm

Regarding web pages I suggest that you contact Web Users Legacy (WUL)
Perhaps she'll find the name is not Green Ridge, but rather Greenridge. It's
a beautiful cemetery, one of the most beautiful I've ever visited.

Renee, in my database, the relationships are shown in the Family View just
above the individual's name, not in the box where the Husband/Wife titles
appear. As far as I know, this is where they have always appeared.

I know about changing the sentence structure. What I wrote about is the
List Style for Events in Pedigree Web Pages, not Sentence Style. There
appears to be no way to modify the list style. Go to the bottom of this
