ClearPrint is an addon that Msoft offers so that the print edges don't
look jaggy. It comes with later releases of XP and 2000 but I think
there are/were downloads on Msoft's site for it. In XP it is not
automatically turned on. You have to go through the desktop setup and

Richard,
This is (probably) a compression issue. I've had the same problem. I usually
use Microsoft Picture It aka Digital Image Pro to save/convert images to TIF.
Even though I have compression turned OFF this program still saves TIF images
with LZW compression. I found if I use another progra
I am not sure what the problem is. I use only L7, and I have over 500 .tif
files as photos, which display properly. I have tried to add one of my 'tiffs'
using FILE, to a person, and the 'icon' type drawing of a stack of papers
showed up. When I clicked on the icon, it brought up the photo. I t
Open the picture (one that doesn't show) in a photo editor and pretend
you're going to resave it. A box for compression options will show.
Make sure it says 'None'. If it doesn't, resave it with no
compression. Would be interested to know if that's the issue.

This is not a merge issue. from previous posts, we have realized there are two
marriages for the same couple, one with children, the other with 'half'
children. What is needed is to unlink (not delete) the couple in the 'second'
marriage, then look to confirm it is fixed.

It does look like Minnesota is the only state where some of the counties are

note of this for future consideration.
Thanks,

Reg SHERLOCK had the best advise. Follow what the Legacy help pages have to
say.
On another note, you redisigned the help page. Looks great.

When selecting the 1870 federal census the series is pre-entered as M593.
Isn't Minnesota on T132?
