Select 3 unused tags - I have used 1, 2 and 3. I am starting with myself.
In Family View for myself, right click tag 1 and in the Advanced Tagging Screen
select Ancestors then OK.
In Family View go to the eldest gggrandparent in father's line, right click tag
2, and in the Advanced T
export the tagged people to a new legacy file and make the report from
that new file.

There is a much easier way to do this. Go to Tools, Relationship Calculator. On
the left side put yourself, on the right put the DAR ancestor. Hit calculate
relationships. It may start early, but hitting stop won't loose anything, just
pause to re-start. When it is finished, you should see on th
I have found that for some unknown reason sometimes moving a photo from the
first slot goes weird, so I confuse the computer by moving a different photo
into the first slot. Then the old #1 is now #2 and moves to whereever. Hope

You might "tag" the DAR Patriot first and each generation (i.e. the
individuals) from the Patriot to you.
Instead of going from you to the DAR Patriot you might try to go from the
