Mike,
I do not know know about when one downloads from Family Search using their
download facility, as I have never used this. However, I can confirm that when
downloading from the IGI using Legacy a repository is created.

Hello Mike,
Thank you for your useful tips on back ups. The first part of your snip is
my reply to the user that was getting the error 91 message and Ken's reply
to him. My problem is also intermittent error message 91 when doing a back
up.

People may want to try TrueCrypt (free) which lets you have an

definitely recommended if you're storing private data!

I agree that it seems adding Multimedia (or otherwise) is unlikely to cause the

No there is not. Personally I let the main person be of the right sex,
the other ends up with the wrong sex, but I then put in notes that the person

**New year...new news.
I know the feeling about eyes - one of mine is now plastic - well, the lens is,
and I'm waiting for the other to be done now.
No difference in principle, the one on the menu bar has more direct options
whilst the Icon only opens at the Charts (at least on mine).

I should have reported this before, but I get error 91 with XP most times
when I backup to PC or to an external hard drive. After being forced to
exit, I repeat the backup and it goes through correctly. I don't backup my
multimedia as I do this independently. So it is not only Vista!
