I have an individual with three events listed. I especially want one event to be private, but I understand that I have to privatize all events when I select the private option on the event page. Having done this, I still find the events in the Descendant narrative report. How can I make this

There is absolutely no reason why you need to be concerned about losing data, as there is no reason you *must* use the backup function to make a copy of your data. If error 91 is a major issue on your particular computer, use the File_Save As option instead, give the file a different name that

The Deluxe feature is to be able to set the private option in the Master Event List for all individuals that have a certain event. In the Standard edition you have to set this in the Individual Information window for all individuals seperately for a certain event. And this Standard edition feature

Mary, Knowing that you produce a website, may I advise caution with tabs. HTML does not recognise a tab and your formatting can end up pretty well anywhere! I don't think V7 is any different to V6 when it comes to tabs, but then for the above reason I don't use them, so have never looked.
