doesn't sort for which people are listed there due to a baptism or
burial. Is there any way around it? Would OpenOffice be helpful?

I would much rather have it default to making a list than remove. I'm
afraid I'm going to inadvertently click without changing it. Too
only. As Elaine mentioned, my birth
certificate is a re-issue. I know the date when my adoption was final, but
I have not seen the actual adoption papers.

I have the same situation with many of the families I work with
(multiple fathers). If I were to do their genogram (strictly for genetic
purposes) there is actually a way to indicate adopted, ect, so you can
track a gene through a family. Just a thought.

Ooops! Gotta list them all!
Actually, the truth is, we all choose what we put in & what we leave

I have a question about adoption. I don't know how long it's been going

Speaking of access date, I notice there is 2 places to add a date. I use

Some give the baby an androgynous name & decide later!

deleting Legacy? You won't delete the family files, just Legacy.
Then reinstall Legacy. It -should- work then.

Ron, I don't know how to open the file in OOo, so instructions would be
appreciated. Maybe I should use the other suggestion & reinstall. I tend
to try a lot of programs, and something could have been corrupted!
