I first developed an interest in 1967, 2 months before my first daughter was
born. My first information came through my grandfather (my only grandparent
living in my lifetime) and my aunt. I bought the 1968 version of Everton's
Handybook for Genealogists, and I started digging.

and you can access them.
Hope this helps. :-)

What happens to a data file created in Legacy 6 Deluxe, and then pulled into
Legacy 6 Standard and work done and then backed up ... what happens to the
items that were in Deluxe mode when they travel to Standard mode and then
moved back into Deluxe mode? Does any data get lost?

I would appreciate that very much. Thank you.

That sounds like a more economical idea.
Since I work as an HP rep (after 4 years with Epson), and have to take tests
with the HP Infolab, I think collecting the points towards a large printer
might not be a bad idea!

Hi Ron,
Your response helps a whole lot. I have version 2, and it did not get
reinstalled the last time I cleaned out my computer. I did some checking and
see that they have gone to ver 3, and I can upgrade for just a bit of $$. I
do remember not being particularly happy with ver 2.

Is anybody using TreeDraw? Are your results satisfactory?

No, I cannot get a Location Index alone either. If I select Location Index
and deselect Name Index, it will give me the Name Index.
However, I can get a TOC and a Name Index in the same document.

I don't remember if this was an item that was supposed to be fixed in the
last update, but when I went to print an Ancestor Book Report this morning,
the leaders in the index still caused multiple lines to print one on top of
the other. I am running ver 6.0.0.118.

I think that's HP multifunction printers that won't

I have an HP Laserjet which works beautifully with
IE7. I print from the Inet all the time, and this
printer is networked so that I can print from
anywhere.

I have it up and running. To get it work properly I
had to disable some of the extreme protections. I
work as a contractor, and some of the training sites
don't work right . so I just go to my Mac for that.
And I fully realize that not everyone can do that.

That's what I did yesterday, and I am playing with it
some today. As a genealogy database, it is extremely
complex! Also worth downloading is the 500+ page
