I wish there was an easier way to *attach* pictures! Last night I was
putting Master Source pictures for cemeteries, so I have a colorful
display of an individual's gravestone under Source Detail for (perhaps)
Birth, Death, Burial and even Military Service, and next to it on the
left is a pict
I also put my headstone pictures in the source detail, but then when I
relocate them, they show up in the missing picture report without the
location. It's taken some fancy searching to find where they belong! I
wish there was an easier way to move pictures not attached to individuals!

Barbara,
Vital Event (birth, chr, death and burial) pictures can be turned on in
the Individual and the Family Group sheet reports so your cemetery
picture will show up in those reports. This applies to Version 6.0 as
well as Legacy 7.0.
They do not appear for the narrative reports such as A

enough people let the authors know it is important to them, it will be moved up
on the priorities list.

Is it correct to assume that version 7 would have corrected this
pretty basic problem? If so, I may need to update sooner than I
thought!

Yes, every once in awhile this question comes up again. You'd have to
create a separate burial event and attach the picture to that (dumb as
it seems since there already is a burial field) or you could attach it
to the individual's individual pictures and it would print out near the

P.S. I don't put gravestone pictures anywhere except as Source Detail
pictures and for no reason except the color of them keeps me company as
I'm navigating around. However, they can also be printed from that
location if you choose that option in Book reports under Sources.

You need to attach your extra pictures to an Event, Burial Event for example
and then you can print event pictures.

In version 6, what is the suggested way to include a photo of a
cemetery headstone? It seems that when I put in a picture and attach
it to Burial, it does not show up in the report.

Before giving up, look at the Scrapbook under View. There are lots of
options for printing various pictures of various sizes per page (including
titles, dates, descriptions, etc.).
Probably not what you were hoping for, but it will print ALL pictures for an

Thank you all heaps for that. I was hoping upon hope that they had
resolved this issue with Legacy.
It appears they have not.

We would like to be able to print multiple pictures for an individual

Maybe they will implement it one of these days.

When printing a report, the program will only print
the preferred photo, so some people add events to the

it worked. Some have used the slide show, to put more
