Tish: I have seven regular backup files, one labeled for each day of the week. So as I log off for the night, I select the file for that day. Once a month, I save my file as a GEDCOM and label it by the month, and upload it to Rootsweb's WorldConnect. I don't delete these monthly backups. But

Absolutely. I assume you've saved each backup under a unique filename (?). If so, only the last save will contain *all* your data. You can also opt to *overwrite* a prior save, which reduces the number of backup files (personally I only have one backup in Legacy's file system, plus a backup on a
