Thank you Ron, for that, I for one am so tired of having LARGE mail come

download.

It appears to me that if this were set up as a forum on a bulletin board you
could avoid all this hassle with HTML or plain text...

I don't know which email program you're
using and how it works, but
As far as I know attachments aren't allowed in Yahoo groups either - a
matter of computer 'security".
My thought would be if someone wanted an attachment sent to them - then it
should be sent to their "actual" e-mail address instead of through the legacy
group

It always fascinates me that someone makes a mistake and people on the list
complain so much that there is far more time and bandwidth wasted chastising
them than the original message took up. Why can't folks just let Sherry
deal with it offline.

Don, and any other interested parties,
Not to be hard-nosed, but there is a difference between "included
within" a message and an "attachment" to a message
escapade to the Etiquette info.
And as I said before, yes, I did make certain I was using Plain
text.
And now we know another quirk of the Users Group setup. 'Nug

Don,
Attachments are not allowed, but unfortunately when we switched servers, we
weren't given the option to remove attachments nor can we convert HTML to
plain text (we ask that users not send message in HTML either). We just
have to trust that the listers will follow the LUG guidelines.
