set it there.

Dear Lloyd,
Go to Options and then go to Customize
Then go to the Fonts tab and then change the Notes font to whatever you
want with the font, then font style with regular, Italic, Bold, Bold
Italic, and then the SIZE.
After you do your printing you then change everything back or not.

In Legacy, there's no way to customize the font sizes at this time.
The viewer of the website can increase the font sizes for the whole web
page, not specific sections. In IE, hold down the ctrl key and roll the
scroll wheel on the mouse or go to View Text size and change the size of
the fonts.
When I look at your website, the vital stats appear larger than the
sources. Two different fonts are used. Perhaps playing with the fonts
will help you.

Paul, your web pages display just fine for me, but I have my PageText Size
on my browser home page (IE) set to *Larger* (my eyesight is a bit poor).
However, I know what you mean about the font sizes on the
This has been repeatedly requested by me and others on the beta board
for three years -- the font sizing on web pages is ludicrous. My only
consolation is that I have UltraEdit (the real program that PSPad
knocked off) installed and can globally change my 10,000 pages at a whack.

Legacy as those sizes are all hard coded into the program and the user has
no control over the output. Maybe Legacy 8.0?

Hi, Paul
Congratulations
The 'vital statistics' font can be made larger. but not (at present)
within Legacy.
Using a text editor, such as PSPad, you can do a global Search and
Replace on the entire folder containing your webpages
Search for size=-2
Replace with size=-1
It is easy to do - but of
Paul,
Yes it is not difficult, but as this can get quite detailed depending on what
you require and may involve a little CSS, if you address your question to

The root of this problem is the _difference_ in font size between the
Headers ( extremely large) and the vital statistics (tiny). Adjusting
the View makes _everything_ larger; by the time vital statistics are
readable, the Headers are ginormous!!

Assuming you're referring to the Legacy News panel within the Legacy

Press Shift before you click on a link (that opens a new browser

Hi Ted,
If you go to Options on the Legacy Home Tab you can select zoom from there
and change the font size. Unfortunately this does not increase the font size
for the newsletter itself as Legacy is acting as a browser. For that I can
only suggest that you copy the path at the top and paste
.

I think the main problem with Pedigree web pages is the huge
difference between the largest and smallest font used. And I can't
understand why the smallest size is used for the vital dates - birth,
marriage and death - immediately under the person's name (which is
in largest size)..

Thanks for the advice on changing the font size, I will try it. But it
would still prefer to have the choice within legacy.
As to major problems, I was referring to my opinion on the major
problem within the context of this thread, i.e. web page fonts.

Norman,
There is no way to change the font size when you generate the web pages, but
there *is* a way to change the font size in IE. Go to View Text Size and
select the font size you wish.
Not all web pages will behave appropriately with this option, however,
