I just wanted to comment that I am a LUGger who was able to purchase a
copy of the new Legacy v7 yesterday at the NGS conference. But this is

For those of us who have been using v6 for years, what will be the cost to

And when will it be available to us?

Keith,
It is not as great a deal as you think. Distances in the
States are on the large side. Going from New York City to San

Going from New Orleans to Minneapolis (south to north) is an 18 hour

Yes, I have no intention of travelling the 1100 miles to Kansas from where I

Elizabeth,
To me, it's not about getting something new. It's about thinking that when
the Millenia cruisers stepped on dry land last fall Version 7 would be
released. It's also about red herrings along the way so that expectations
are raised and lowered almost with the same frequency as ships in
So, based on the Legacy News I just received there will be no release of
Legacy v7 to the general public this week.
Seems that anyone attending NGS in the States will be allowed to get a
pre-release at the show.
I find this a little annoying (to say the least). Not that Legacy isn't
going to be
Just driving from Denver, Colorado to Kansas City (only across Kansas) is about an 8 hour trip. Minneapolis to Kansas City we allow 7 hours. But then we usually lay over an hour to do some shopping at lunch halfway. It's actually a 6 hour trip.Fortunately for me, this time, I live 45 mins to 1
I agree.
How about making the pre-release available to paying customers for download?

Hello Keith,
Well said.
Legacy is very much US centric.
Even the time mentions when we got those by
annoying 60 messages, times were NOT quoted in GMT or Zulu time.
Pacific Time or any other US centric time zone means nothing to Europeans.

Note that this is a pre-release version that is being released at NGS.
So there could still be some hiccups in the code. If I remember right

Why would you want a partial upgrade? And I don't know about the

yet to hear anyone from Millenia suggest any sort of time frame, certainly
not a mantra nor soon.
