Those who purchase in last 10 months have already paid for Legacy 7.0
Deluxe and really deserve to have it first.

Christian,
I totally agree with you. And the same you apply when you buy a car. I have
only bought Fords ever since I got my first one 22 years ago. I think the Ford
automotive company should give me a new car everytime they come out

All it takes is for Millennia to put the program on an ftp
server and add a single download link on their website.
That's true if all we were placing up there was the Standard Edition but what
fun would that be if you couldn't play with all the cool new Deluxe Edition
features. Also, we
We love this program and appreciate the efforts of the Legacy team to
incorporate various new features in the new release and have it work
properly. It takes an incredible amount of work to pull this off, yet

I'm sorry for the block caps, and the tone of the above line, but this
is what these messages remind me of, a three year old child whining
because his favourite toy was taken away. I'm just getting sick and
tired of all these messages
I'll hazard a guess that the work would go a bit more quickly (and it

I agree with you and maybe Millenia should be like I was with my

Yes, I would love to have had it in early May. I am sending a packet

family reunion. I am sure all the new bells and

Speaking of children, I have found working with
children many times more enjoyable than working with
adults. At least you expect them to act like
children.

I just want to get this straight: I you already had Legacy Deluxe 6.0,
you should have purchased another
Of course they paid for it first and we old-timers haven't because a way has

I agree. I've been a user of Legacy for many, many years also. Even
though I was able to attend the conference
The logic is very simple: Cash Flow.
Last summer it was announced that Ver. 7 would be released soon. Why would
new potential customers buy Ver. 6 at full price when they knew they would have
to spend full price again in a few weeks or months for Ver. 7? They wouldn't.
They'd either wait,
We, Legacy Deluxe 6.0 users, have not purchased Version 7 yet. Some
other people have. It's a matter of days difference and the massive
logistics of putting this altogether, as Ken has explained on the list
twice already, taking more valuable time out of his day. Geez, have a
heart.

I've got a suggestion. How about all of those people who have a gripe with
Millenia write to them directly and express their views? That would spare
the rest of us from reading all of the childish whining and belly-aching
that's been going on here. It's really getting to be ridiculous!

Huh?
This old-timer paid for a new V6 Deluxe shortly after it was announced that a free upgrade to V7 was
included. Obviously a way was available. I saw an
I have a better idea. Everyone who is doing
all of the belly-aching and childish whining should re buy V6 now and then
they will be able to
get V7 in the first batch to be sent out. Perhaps then they can all stop
clogging up the list with
their constant moaning.

No one denies what you wrote - I think everyone understands that! No
one here said that older customers should get version 7.0 for free -
it is about the availability/the immediate purchase option for old
customers which is denied. And this is what makes no sense. It would
help at times to read
All you had to do is send in your money like the others did over the

Sometimes life just doesn't make sense. Get over it. Considering we're
a group of people who make a hobby of being interested in people (albeit
mostly dead ones) we're sure good at showing a lack of people awareness
sometimes. They must be exhausted out of their minds over at Legacy,
