It both explains the different image formats and the advantages and
disadvantages of each.

I would think graphics are on point for this list.
Many supporting documents that will support our
research and become part of reports surely must
include tiff among the formats.

I use TIF format almost exclusively for the images I attach in Legacy
(census, scans of documents, photographs, etc.). Most of these files
are way over 200KB - in fact they are all in the 3-5 MB range. I have
never had a problem with Legacy handling, saving, or displaying these
images. The

I haven't had any trouble over 200 Kb but if Sherry said so it must be true.
That's how it works. The linked files go with the database. Look out
for renaming files outside of Legacy though as it can be a pain to find
them again. Renaming inside Legacy (Picture Center) is a pain too
though
