For just a few locations, 50 or so or fewer, it is not too bad. But if you
have 100s or 1,000s of locations to convert, it is trying to do conversion
for that many!

Is there a way to have the program transfer these numbers to a location
without cut and paste back and forth?

Hello. Don't forget that Legacy provides a way for you to convert DMS to
decimal degrees, and vice versa! Quite a few people are pleasantly
pleased to discover this. To find it, go to "Add/Edit Location."

Larry,
As a mariner/navigator my opinion is that Millennia are doing it exactly
right. We use degrees, minutes and decimals of minutes. One minute of Lat. = 1
nautical mile so when we talk in minutes we are talking in miles, as it always
has been. The Lat. scale on the side of nautical charts

If the degrees must be between 0 and 90 or (0 and 180 for longitude),
and the minutes and seconds must be between 0 and 59 then where do you
get the number 681234? It's not between 0 and 59 or 90 or 180!
If you look at the Add/Edit Master Location screen or at an address
681234.293 = 68 degrees, 12 minutes, and 34.293 seconds.

Latitude = DDMMSS.xxx and Longitude = DDDMMSS.xxx
So 681234.293 is 68 degrees, 12 minutes a
