I wonder if perhaps my previous software used that term, and so when I imported the GEDCOM into Legacy, it brought the term with it? Every single person I had in the original GEDCOM has a natural relationship to their parents, who were 99% married. Being new to Legacy, I had no idea that it wasn't

The relationship of a child to his biological father and mother is obvious and is therefore usually left blank. When a child is not the biological offspring of a parent, the Legacy database can record the status of their relationship which is not the same as child status. Child status should
