We can attach files from a word processor to our Legacy file? I'm
interested in seeing the responses to Brian's query on this. Kathy

Hi Ron,My stories are little paragraphs of memories I was told, not really

Brian,
What program are you using to read/send your emails?
I have reserved my General Notes for short "stories" really these are just
notes and jottings though. I am not convinced at all that Legacy is suitable
for this purpose. If I wish to insert a biography, or similar, then I would
do it in

So, if I start storing my pictures/documents that I attach to my Legacy file

Kathy,
Basically what you say is correct, but it does depend on how you are storing
the pictures. As you realise, Legacy's working files only store the paths
and not the images, whereas the multimedia backup stores the lot. Thus it is
important that the paths to the pics are *exactly* the same on

Thanks, I figured that was the case; i.e., that you would have to restore

guess I need to be very strict with my organization for that to work. Mayb

You should make a suggestion that Millennia revise the Legacy program to remove

Like some others, I used One World Tree until I saw how "messed up" it

others. I started by sending a very carefully controlled GEDCOM, making
