and source them with the same source showing where you found these

I have noticed that a lot of people model relatives of spouses as
individuals in their tree. I can see where this might prove helpful when you
find a distant cousin who descends from that line. My own (perhaps selfish)
approach is to not model them but to mention them in the general notes for
that
Adding to Brian's comment, if you do a Multiple Lines of Descent
report and include the MRIN for the spouse's ancestor(s), then you can
get his or her siblings in the report.

I add spouses as individuals because you never know what might pop up. Like

1. Position yourseld to person you want ancestors for in the Family View
2. Go to advanced tagging (Ctrl+T) (hold CTRL key and hit t)
3. Clear all Tags for Everyone
4. Select Tag # to use (Normally Tag #1)
5. Select Ancestors
6 Use Dire
In reality, Jennifer, I use six colors. Four are for my ancestors and two are
for my husband's ancestors. I also use binders instead of folders. I'm still
working through getting everything updated (lots of re-working of things I've
entered over the past decade). But, I like having the surnames
If the person is female, she is with her parents (whatever color that family
unit is) before her marriage, and with her husband (whatever color his family
unit is) after she's married. Or did I completely misunderstand that part?

I checked my settings:
Dates Displayed As = 21 Nov 1953
Month Format = Abbr. month name
I would think that this would indicate that all of my dates would be DD MMM
but they are not. Some of them actually have the month spelled out
completely. But that's only in the Picture Center.

Recently after upgrading to Windows 7 I began having a spacing issue in my
descendancy book reports. Now there are HUGE gaps in my book reports.
