Is there a standard for use of the possessive quote mark in locations? A place
such as John's Crossing could be Johns Crossing. Quotes may give problems later
in match or exporting. Hal

province who would be interested in starting a Legacy Users Group? I am
just north of Toronto so if we have interest in the GTA, perhaps we can meet
somewhere locally; otherwise, I'm thinking about setting up either a

to 1850, the only individual identified by name is the head of
household. Other family members are only specified by approximate age
and the number of people in that age range.

I will do the same, I might put by the entries who I think they might

since there might be servants included in the household or even
relatives and their children G the 1790 to 1840 are almost like

When I tried to set up the Census for the USA, the source writer

This is one of those personal decisions but - I have a lot of people
in the US Censues so I am a lumper as far as censuses go - I use the
information for the 1930 Census but do not fill in the city, county or
state until I get to the detail section of the entry. Try both and
see which you like
Tony,
How a census is recorded is a personal choice. I suggest that you try each
recommendation and decide which method you prefer.
Personally, I record each Census as an Event in each person's life.
