If we expand the existing 5 fields in family view to 7 that might mean that some major part of the existing 3 generations on the family view would disappear, probably the parents. There is only so much real estate available on your display. We are happy to consider suggestions for new features.

It seems to me that if one knows when a birth or death was registered, but not when it actually happened, then the birth or death date should be recorded with the 'Before' notation (one of the acceptable date formats). If you do that, is it not adequate to keep the birth and death fields as-is on
