None of my medial files transferred with the restoration!

Media files are not backed up to Legacy cloud - just you database is backed up.
You need to restore your media files from your non Legacy cloud backup.

Legacy has repeatedly made it clear all along that media was not backed up -
just database. Michelle Simmons has posted that numerous times both here and
on FB. There should be no need for a “warning” as there is nothing to warn
people about since it had been made very clear that media is not

lots of sources and notes, etc, etc. I use the latest Legacy v9 update
on a Core2Duo processor running Windows 10 Home 32 bit Operating System,
and 4 Gb memory, and a clock speed of 3.0 Ghz. My .fdb file is about
565Mb in

program has never done. From the time that Legacy 9 was released, it was made
clear that the optional cloud backup was for your database only. This is the
screen that everyone gets when doing a backup. Where, under Leg

Millennia (Legacy) would have omitted backup of media files because they are
large, and some users may have hundreds of Mb up to GB of storage requirements
for their media files.
But everyone has Windows – any version has the free gift from Microsoft of
OneDrive – which is a more than adequate

I have a fairly large file of 468,000 names with an .fdb file of over 1.3 GB
with lots of notes. My Legacy is starting to run a little slower and I'm
sure that is because of the size of the file. The maximum file size is 2GB

Thank you everyone. My computer is at HP Technical repair and I purchased
another one. (Getting a full refund). But I DID backup all to my Dropbox.
So that answers me - I will download to my new computer from my cloud.

A gedcom will not contain any media files. If you have them in your
dropbox as a media back-up, you can import them back into legacy once
you get legacy 9 set up.
If you wish to use Legacy on a tablet or phone you have to purchase an
