Once again, I’m asking for something that may require a feature
enhancement, but is there any way to display Ancestor Colors on the Index
View?

Only four colors apply to reports.
A suggestion has previously been passed on to the programmers to
include all 8 colors

I am getting the same issue as Cathy. (Legacy latest version Win7)

The Pedigree Chart REPORT does not support the two colour groups nor
does it support 8 ancestor lines. Only the four ancestor colours are

You are seeing the two colour boxes because Legacy 8 now allows you to
set two starting people for the ancestor colours. When a person is in
both lines they will have two colours in their box. The pale colour is
for the ancestors of the first person, the darker colour is for the
ancestors of the

Tools Ancestor Colors
Click on the Ancestor Group 1 tab then Clear All Group 1 Colors
Click on the Ancestor Group 2 tab then Clear All Group 2 Colors
Go back to the Ancestor Group 1 tab, put your starting person in the
box, select Track the Four Grandparents’ lines
These are the 2 issues I emailed Technical Support on Sunday about. I included
2 screenshots to support showing issue on Pedigree View but I’m not sure if it
was appropriate to include in my users group email.
Legacy v.8.0.0.367; Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit system with 2 issues.
