You have been using the File > Backup Family file. That is the command that
makes a backup of your file (and some associated files) as a .zip file in a
compressed format.

No. You've been backing up to your flash drive. This is very different to

Why not just copy/paste the .fdb file to the flash drive? Seems to me
to be the simplest way

I'd like use Legacy Standard Edition on two computers and one laptop. I need
the information entered to be identical on each of them. Does anyone know how
