Try this link... It is what I paste in the detail window on an obituary source. The name of the funeral home is set up as the master source and current date. It works for me. Plus it is a reference as long as the funeral home maintains website. http://www.mourning.com/obituaries/Codrey-Navarre

I'd use Findagrave as the source. I'm afraid I've not been consistent bur I often put the findagrave url, which includes the grave number, on the Text/Comments tab of the Details screen, then I would say something like, "transcribing xxx [newspaper obit info]. And as Cathy says, finding and citin

Barton, I wouldn't use a Newspaper source for this obituary since you only saw a transcript. I'd make a Find A Grave source and use that since that's where you found the obituary. Since it gives the actual origin, I'd include at the end of the entry, citing "Title", Newspaper, date, page. AND/OR I
