Reading this discussion makes me curious about SCORE. Do I have the chance to
try SCORE somehow?
I dont think I would switch away from Lilypond since I got experience with it.
But I could be worth the know the other side.
Cheers,
Helge

Sure, for $750 or so.
Ok, I think the curiousity is not so strong.

Hi,
I run Lilypond on an English version of Windows 7 (64). But when I start

I found a lilypond script on a programmer's website. It shall print
piano keys. But this gives only errors when I compile it with lilypond.
Would it be really possible to achieve what is requested or is it just a
joke?

Hello,
I think, vertical spacing issues have been discussed often here. But
even playing around with VerticalAxisGroup doesn't get my score in an
acceptible design.
The demerit is that the staves are pinned together while the dynamics
line gets huge space. Can you get me a hint, what I have

I thought I could help, but apparently my scheme-fu isn't good enough

you need, but there's scant information on it, and I don't know how to
change the size of the box it creates.

Hello,
I read in the info-lilypond mailing list that the version 2.13.5-0 is
available. I found the software at the download site ... but not for
Windows.
I assume that it must be compiled with mingw before it can be uploaded.
Do you know when it can be available?
Best regards,
Helge

Hello,
I read about the new version, so I wanted to give it a try.
When I try to install it I get an error message:

Hello,
I notate a piece with four staves. Two dynamic lines are inserted
between staff 1+2 and 3+4 like show in
http://lsr.dsi.unimi.it/LSR/Item?id=357. While the layout looks
reasonable on most pages I have a lot of empty spave between the systems
on page three and four.
This compiles fine with Lilypond 2.13.0. Are you sure you sent the
actual content of you .ly file? Without the original file it may be
mystic to us.

Hello,
I have to notate a piece of music where I need a TextSpanner for playing

The problem is, that the TextSpanner needs different notes to begin and

Has anybody any suggestion what I could do to include this text in piano

Hello,
I am using centered dynamics for some scores (id=357). Now I need to use
a text for a dynamic change spread over several measures. I found an

Neil,
you kicked me ;-)
I admit, it was too silly. But your advise showed that's simple.
