For me, typing a hundred lines of code is a headache compared to
dragging and dropping a few icons. Personal preference, I guess. I've
been writing code for years, but I still prefer graphical interfaces.

Either one is better than trying to code MUI...what a headache!

I realize the correct term for an array in Lingo is "list". And I see
that I can reference an existing list using this syntax:
AA = [1, 2, 3]
put value("AA")
--[1, 2, 3]
But my original question still stands: how can I create the list AA
from the string "AA&quo
that string into an array name,
and how do I later reference the same array?
This is probably embarrassingly obvious, but...
Thanks,
Tom

reating a new one with the same one. On
a couple of occassions I've had a similar problem where a marker was
suddenly not recognized, but a new marker with the same name worked
again. Definitely qualifies as an "arrrghhh"!

Nope. I tried this already. But bracket syntax will work just fine.
Thanks, Mark.

As others have said, DirectMedia Xtra rocks! We just finished a
project for a major corporate client who needed full-screen
full-motion video from CD-ROM. We used MPEG-1 with DirectMedia. The
client loves it.

I don't know much about either of these, but they're worthing
checking out because resolution switching on Windows is such a touchy
issue.

You can simply specify this as an option when creating your projector.
