To add an update repository you must register SLES. YAST provides an interface
for taking care of the registration or you can use the CLI. In YAST, got to
Support | Novell Customer Center Configuration. My preference is to use the
suse_register command. suse_register -h to see
Also: If you have no money for Linux or z/VM - how do you plan to get
the license for DB2 Connect ?

I come from a Red Hat (rpm, up2date and yum) background, so I'm lost
when dealing with YaST2. When I start yast2 and select "Software" and
"Online Update", I get a message box with "No active update repository
available. Exit Online Update now?". Where is the configuration for
the "Update repo

Then you need to protect yourself for when problems arise, and getting it fixed
takes longer than "the agency" would like.

As far as I know - we are the only people who provide such an offering.
We have several customers doing their z/OS (IBM compatible) builds
on z/Linux.
Not only do you save cycles, our customers have found their builds
run *much* faster!
