Bruce, The SAP App Server on Linux for System z only supports the database on DB2 for z/OS. Sadly, DB2 LUW (even Linux on System z) is not an option. Like the other poster indicated, if you can get an opportunity to talk to Mark you should do so. He actually gave a good presentation here at
