According to logs, everything seems to be fine. You could not compare
statistics numbers between two drivers. SNR 0096 is 150DEC, which means
15dB, IIRC it was max chip could return for DVB-S.
No idea about sync etc. problems, are you sure about those? I am pretty

a quick update on this one. I found out the image and sound corruption
seems to be mainly due to the TV Headend plugin.
Using the tool: femon -H
and the output from TV Headend directly it clearly shows that yes there
is a high BER however, most of it seems to be corrected. The
Attached are updated dvb-t scan and channels.conf data for
Australia/Melbourne as of August 17 2014. The main change is the
updated SBS channel frequency which occurred early in 2014.
Could these please be used to patch the official repository for the
au-Melbourne files.
